PoeFest is a month-long celebration of the short stories and poems of Edgar Allan Poe held in Phoenix, AZ each October. Audiences are invited inside the walls of a 19th Century asylum for the criminally insane where inmates will recount their grisly crimes. The entire event features nothing but the words of the master of the macabre himself, Edgar Allan Poe.
PoeFest is produced by Arizona Curriculum Theater. We are a 501(c)(3) public charity promoting literacy and bringing the arts to classrooms all over the Phoenix Metro Area.
